Vendors: one directory of who you hire

Decorator, rental, AV, transport, cleaning, food supply — kept per restaurant, without prices or invoices.

Empty for now. Vendor directory table: company name, category chips (decorator, rental, AV), contact fields. Office dashboard chrome. No amounts, no invoice list.

What this is for

A company directory for the current restaurant. Switch restaurant, and the directory switches with it. Vendors only identify who you hire or buy from — not how much you paid.

What you do

  • Add companies once

Name is required and unique per restaurant. Pick a category. Phone, e-mail, tax ID, address, and notes are optional.

  • Filter and search by category

Find the florist, rental house, or cleaner without digging through last year’s notes.

  • Fixed categories

Decorator, Rental, Audio and video, Transport, Cleaning, Food supply, Other.

  • Pick a vendor where it matters

On an event extra, catalog additional service, service on the event, a supply list, or the menu’s ingredient list (up to twenty vendors for the whole list — not per line). Each place takes zero or one vendor, except the menu list.

  • Names stay as they were

When you assign a vendor, we save the name as it was. Renaming later does not rewrite past bookings.

  • Without the module

Extras keep a free-text vendor name. Turning the module on unlocks the picker.

Access and related modules

  • Who can open it

Owner and Manager write. Read-only can view. Staff and Kitchen never see this module, and vendor contact details never appear on their event views.

  • Works with Supplies

Supplies works alone for lists. Picking a vendor on a list, an extra, a service, or the menu ingredient list needs the Vendors module.

What this is not
Not warehouse tracking, not orders to suppliers, not goods received, not invoice scanning, not amounts, and not subscription billing. Vendors only identify who.
