Perfect Venue vs Manage My Restaurants Events: CRM or Event Day?

Perfect Venue helps venues sell private events and take deposits. Manage My Restaurants Events runs the event day: menu, shopping list, timeline and team.
Perfect Venue vs Manage My Restaurants Events comparison

Updated October 2026

Short answer: Perfect Venue is built to sell private events. It handles inquiries, AI-drafted replies, proposals, e-signatures, deposits and automatically generated banquet event orders (BEOs). It suits restaurants, bars and hospitality groups whose main problem is answering leads fast and getting paid online (perfectvenue.com, as of October 2026). Manage My Restaurants Events (MMRE) is built to run the event once it's sold. The menu generates a shopping list with an estimated plate cost, and the timeline, document templates, tasks and staff schedule all sit on the same event. It suits restaurants, banquet venues and hotel food and beverage (F&B) teams whose main problem is the kitchen, the floor and the office working from different versions of the plan. If you need help with both selling and event-day operations, the two tools cover different stages and can sit side by side.

What Perfect Venue does well

Perfect Venue calls itself event management software for restaurants, venues and hospitality groups that "brings inquiries, proposals, BEOs, payments, and email into one place" (Home, as of October 2026). It was founded in 2017, is based in San Francisco and says it serves 2,000+ venues across the United States (About, as of October 2026).

  • Fast replies to leads. A central calendar shows leads alongside booked events. Email templates fill in event details automatically, and AI Reply drafts answers using your menus, spaces and availability (Home, About, AI Reply, as of October 2026). The Event Assistant, available on all plans, lets you set instructions for each stage from first inquiry to post-event follow-up, and its First Reply option automatically emails new contact-form inquiries within minutes (Event Assistant, First Reply, as of October 2026).

  • Proposal, signature and deposit in one step. Teams build proposals from templates, collect an e-signature and take the deposit together. Payments and refunds go through Stripe (About, Home, as of October 2026). With Express Book, guests check availability, choose menu items and pay a deposit online, and the venue accepts or declines (Features, as of October 2026).

  • Automatic BEOs. BEO and proposal PDFs are generated and updated from event details (Features, as of October 2026). On Enterprise, Custom Documents add templates such as a chef BEO or an internal run-of-show (Help Center, as of October 2026).

  • Floor plans. A paid Floor Plans add-on, with a 7-day free trial, builds 2D to-scale room layouts inside Perfect Venue. Templates are saved per space, the layout sits under BEO & Docs, and guests can see it from their proposal link (Floor Plans, Floor plan software, as of October 2026). Venues that prefer a separate diagramming tool can connect Cvent (as of October 2026).

  • Multi-location groups. One account covers every location, with a group showcase page, reporting by location and by sales rep, and per-location access for GMs (general managers). Since May 2026, Premium and above also add org-level sales goals by region or venue group (About, as of October 2026).

  • Integrations and lead sources. These include OpenTable, Tock, Stripe, Square, HubSpot, 7shifts, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Calendar, Eventbrite and Zapier (About, as of October 2026), as well as PartySlate, The Knot / WeddingWire and Cvent for floor plans (Help Center, as of October 2026). There's also a public venue marketplace (Marketplace, as of October 2026).

  • Mobile app and migration. An iPhone and iPad app, plus a "white glove" migration from your current tool (Home, as of October 2026).

What Manage My Restaurants Events does

Manage My Restaurants Events is event management software for restaurants, banquet venues and hotel F&B teams. It picks up where the sales conversation ends: the event is confirmed, and now the kitchen, the floor and the office have to deliver it. Everything hangs off one event, with a client, a date and a status.

  • Clients and history. The client record holds contact details and past events. It's a contact file, not a sales pipeline.

  • Menus, shopping lists and plate cost. Add dishes and drinks to the event. The shopping list is generated from that menu's ingredients and quantities: it tells you what to buy for this event, not what's live in stock. Items show an estimated plate cost. Change a dish and the list follows. See how event menus and shopping lists work.

  • Expected and final guest counts. Both sit on the event, so the menu, the shopping list and the team work from the same number.

  • Timeline. A timed run-of-show on the event: doors, welcome drinks, courses, speeches. You can share it by link with people who don't have a login, such as a band, a florist or extra floor staff, so they see the current plan rather than a printout. For worked examples, see event-day timeline examples.

  • Document templates. Write a template once, add placeholders, and generate it from the event. Guest-facing and kitchen-facing layouts share the same data but look different, and generated documents can be exported to PDF. A BEO-style packet is a document template filled from the event, plus the timeline. For what goes into one, see BEO examples and BEO vs event sheet.

  • Roles and staff access. Owners and Managers work in the office view. Staff are billed seats who open an event only when they have a shift or a board task on it. They don't see the client record, documents or office notes. See team access.

  • Tasks and schedules. A task board and staff schedules on the event.

  • English and Polish. The product runs in both languages.

What it doesn't do, so you can judge for yourself: no payment collection, no e-signature, no AI features, no venue marketplace, no POS, no hotel PMS, no floor plan builder, no menu versioning and no integrations with other tools. If you need those, keep the tools you already use for them.

BEO: an automatic PDF or a packet built from the event?

This is where the two tools overlap most.

In Perfect Venue, the BEO comes out of the sale. A booked proposal becomes a banquet event order automatically, and the PDF updates when event details change (About, Features, as of October 2026). With the paid Floor Plans add-on, the room layout sits next to the BEO and guests can see it from their proposal (Floor plan software, as of October 2026). If you sell through Perfect Venue, that saves real time.

In Manage My Restaurants Events, you build the packet from a document template that pulls the client, date, menu and guest count from the event, with the timeline beside it. The kitchen layout and the guest layout come from the same data, and you can export either to PDF or share the timeline by link. It takes more setup up front, but the packet stays tied to the shopping list, the plate cost and the staff schedule for that night.

When Perfect Venue is the better choice

Be honest about where your problem is. Perfect Venue is the better fit when:

  • Sales is the bottleneck. Inquiries wait too long, proposals take too long, and deposits are chased by email. Perfect Venue's AI Reply, an automatic first reply to new contact-form inquiries, templates and one-step proposal, e-signature and deposit target exactly that (About, AI Reply, First Reply, as of October 2026).

  • You want online payments and e-signature. MMRE doesn't do either.

  • You run several locations. Perfect Venue is built for groups with shared templates and reporting by location and rep (About, as of October 2026). MMRE's current plans cover one active restaurant.

  • You want leads from a marketplace and integrations with OpenTable, Tock, HubSpot or 7shifts (About, Marketplace, as of October 2026).

  • You want floor plans tied to the booking. Perfect Venue's paid Floor Plans add-on puts the room layout in the event, the BEO documents and the guest proposal (Floor Plans, Floor plan software, as of October 2026). MMRE has no floor plan builder.

  • You need a phone app. Perfect Venue has an iPhone and iPad app (Home, as of October 2026). MMRE runs in the browser.

  • You want to start free. Perfect Venue has a free plan, with higher card fees (Free plan, as of October 2026).

When Manage My Restaurants Events is the better choice

  • Sales are fine, but the event night is where things slip: the kitchen orders from an old menu, the floor works from a photo of the run-of-show, the guest count changed and nobody told the chef.

  • You want menu → shopping list → plate cost on the event itself.

  • You want staff to open only the events they're working, without the client record or office notes.

  • Your team works in Polish and English.

  • You're a single restaurant, banquet venue or hotel F&B team and don't need payments or a marketplace in the same tool.

Is Manage My Restaurants Events a Perfect Venue alternative?

Only partly. If you want a tool to take inquiries, send proposals, collect e-signatures and take deposits, MMRE isn't an alternative to Perfect Venue, because it doesn't do those things. If you need the kitchen, floor and office working from the same plan after the sale, MMRE goes deeper on menus, shopping lists, plate cost and timelines.

Many venues have both problems. Perfect Venue covers winning the booking, and MMRE covers delivering it. MMRE has no integrations and no import from Perfect Venue, so the hand-off is manual: once an event is confirmed, the menu, guest count and timing go into MMRE, and the kitchen and floor work from there.

FAQ

Do I need both tools?

Not necessarily. A venue that sells most events by phone and takes deposits by bank transfer may only need MMRE. A venue whose events run smoothly but whose sales are slow may only need Perfect Venue. Use both when you need help at both stages.

Does Manage My Restaurants Events replace Tripleseat or Perfect Venue?

No. MMRE doesn't collect payments, run e-signatures or manage a sales pipeline, which are the jobs sales-focused event platforms are bought for. It's built for running the event once it's sold.

Can I import my events from Perfect Venue?

No. Manage My Restaurants Events has no import from Perfect Venue and no integrations with other tools. If you switch, or use both, you enter the event in MMRE yourself: client, date, menu, guest count and timing. Perfect Venue, for its part, offers a white-glove migration into its own platform (Home, as of October 2026).

Does Perfect Venue have a free plan?

Yes. As of October 2026, the free plan includes CRM, BEOs, proposals and payments, with a card processing fee of about 4.8% plus 30 cents per transaction. Its free plan page says it doesn't include the events calendar, team messages, task management, multiple venues or multi-day events (Free plan). Check the current plan before you rely on it, because the FAQ on Perfect Venue's pricing page lists the events calendar as part of the free plan.

How do I make a BEO in Manage My Restaurants Events?

Build a document template once with placeholders for the client, date, menu and guest count, then generate it from the event, export it to PDF and pair it with the event timeline. Guest and kitchen layouts can come from the same event. See BEO examples for what to include.

Can I take deposits in Manage My Restaurants Events?

No. MMRE doesn't collect payments. Keep your current payment process, or a sales tool such as Perfect Venue, for that.

Try it on your next event

If the event night, not the sale, is where your team loses time, try Manage My Restaurants Events on one real event. Put the menu, guest count, timeline and staff on it, and see whether the kitchen and floor stop asking which version is current. See plans: 14-day free trial, card required.
